Pafos, Cyprus, March 31st, 2022 – We are delighted to announce that Pafos FC has been shortlisted as a finalist at this year’s Football Business Awards in the category “Best Fan Engagement by a Club”.

Since 2012 the Football Business Awards honour the very best in football business and recognise the organisations, teams and individuals in various areas of operations within the industry. The judging panel consists of experienced professionals, including Chief Executives of Football Clubs, Professional Football Associations & Grassroots Football Organisations.

Pafos FC is honored to be the pioneer among the Cypriot football teams to be selected as a finalist for the club’s achievements. The club has set the goal to connect with its audience and help its supporters to gain the feeling of being a part of something big and it was recognized for that. Its work with the fans and the community of the city of Paphos through the “Pafos FC Family” and “One Team – One Town” campaigns, in which the club highlighted the importance of unity and establishing close connections, has been shortlisted in the highly competitive category, and will go up against campaigns from the likes of Aston Villa FC, Fulham FC, Leicester City FC, Norwich City FC and Wigan Athletic FC.
