A 53-year-old Russian specialist Oleg Kononov has been appointed as a head coach of “Riga” FC! He has led the Russian Premier League giant “Spartak Moscow”, and has coached other clubs in Russia, Ukraine and Moldova.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper coach will be 45-year-old Romanian coach Daniel Tudor. During his career as a football player, Tudor has represented a number of Romanian clubs, and for three years he has led the Hungarian club Videoton. During his coaching career, Tudor spent many years working directly with Kononov at the Russian clubs Krasnodar and Arsenal Tula. Tudor also held this post at Kuban Krasnodar and Dinamo Bucaresti.
